Single-Family Housing
HAUCDC has acquired, made any necessary repairs or improvements, and sold 99 residential single-family homes. The organization has held and continues to hold single-family properties as long-term rentals. As of 2025, HAUCDC holds twenty four (24) single-family lots under development.

Multi-Family Housing
HAUCDC partners with National Nonprofits and local for-profit developers in the production and preservation of affordable rental developments, and has completed eight such projects to date. HAUCDC has participants as the non-profit partner in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects, including Altura Heights Rental Apartments in Southwest Houston and Garden Gate Apartments located in New Caney Texas. Both multi-family rental projects serve households predominantly earning below 60% of the area median income (AMI).
HAUCDC has served as the non-profit general contractor on six rental developments in Central and Southeast Texas, building over 800 rental units for low-income households.

Down Payment Assistance
HAUCDC has provided over $1 Million in down payment and closing cost assistance to lower-income home buyers.

HAUCDC has partnered with the DMA Companies to build Altura Heights, adding 124, affordable apartments in Houston. This public-private partnership is an example of the success achieved when all the sectors team up for affordable workforce housing!
